Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra's ADM Young Artists Concerto Competition Winner Concert

Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra invites the public to the annual Arthur D. Montzka Young Artists Concerto Competition Winner Concert, on Feb. 23, at 7:30 p.m. in Boutell Memorial Concert Hall in the Music Building, Northern Illinois University, DeKalb. The concert will feature competition winner Kelly Talim, guest soloist on violin, performing with the orchestra, Violin Concerto in D Major, Op. 77, by Johannes Brahms. The orchestra will also perform Requiem, Op. 48, by Gabriel Fauré, featuring DeKalb Festival Chorus and members of Rockford's Mendelssohn Chorale, and Symphony No. 44, by Joseph Haydn. This performance is supported in part by the Mary E. Stevens Concert Trust.

Tickets go on sale 30 minutes prior to the concert. All seats are general admission (no reserved seating). Tickets prices are $15 for adults, $10 for students and seniors 62 and over, and $5 for children under 12.
