STEM Saturdays: Basic Electronics

This STEM class will introduce younger students to the basic concepts of electricity and circuits using play dough, lemon batteries and snap circuit kits. Students will engage in hands-on activities designed to demonstrate the difference between insulators and conductors, as well how electricity is used to make our lights glow and motors turn. $25 per Saturday session. This is recommended for students in 2nd - 6th grade and capacity is 16 students.

The class starts at 9am on Saturday, November 10th, and is located at NIU's Faraday Hall Room 105, on Normal Road in DeKalb. For more information, please visit http://www.niu.edu/stem/.
